Overview
It is an epoxy-based “rod” specifically designed to stop leaks immediately, providing a temporary solution that buys time for long-term repairs. Suitable for low-pressure pipe repairs, this product offers a fast and reliable option in situations requiring immediate intervention.
This simple system eliminates the occupational health and safety risks associated with traditional hot-work methods such as cutting and welding, and is much easier to apply in active leak situations. Application requires only kneading the material by hand and pressing it onto the damaged area. A Belzona tourniquet is then used to apply pressure until the material cures.
After Belzona 9611 (ES-Metal) has stopped the leak, a Belzona epoxy composite can be used in conjunction with Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape) to reinforce the repair. Adding a composite pipe wrap provides a durable and long-lasting solution.
