Overview
This material has been specifically designed for use in combination with our high temperature coatings. The product’s extended overcoat window of 24 hours reduces the need for grit blasting, significantly lowering application costs and downtime. Under immersion it is suitable for application up to 150°C.
This multi-purpose repair composite is corrosion resistant and performs well against a wide range of chemicals, making it an ideal choice for use in repair situations or original equipment manufacture.
Usage areas: Repair befor High-Temperature resistant coatings, engine blocks, liners, scrubber and exhaust pipework, tanks, pipes, elbows.
Benefits
Outstanding performance under elevated temperature conditions including dry heat and steam exposure
Machinable using conventional tools after cure
Exceptional compressive strength for load-bearing applications and demanding mechanical environments
100% solids formulation reduces health and safety risks in confined spaces with no shrinkage on cure
Outstanding resistance to erosion damage in flowing fluid and abrasive environments
Applications
Repair of cracks, wear and corrosion damage in equipment exposed to high temperatures, prior to the application of a protective coating.
Repair of wear, erosion and corrosion damage caused by high temperatures and corrosive gases.
Repair of wear, corrosion and metal loss caused by hot fluids.
Repair of corrosion and surface damage in tanks exposed to high temperatures and chemical effects prior to the application of a protective coating.
